The Portuguese village Ponte Da Mucela used to be busy, a small centre of local tourism. This changed after the route from Spain to Portugal changed, and didn’t cross the village anymore. To look back at the heyday of the village and look forward to what the village can become again, I made an ice cream stall and ice cream from the figs of trees in the village. During lunch at the convívio (community center) I handed out the ice creams for free to the local community
