You Know You’ve Got Me in Your Pocket

(Guy, Stay With Me) / (Piper, Stay With Me)

When we moved into the house where I lived as a child, I found a pile of chromo images with Hollywood movie stars from the fifties. A few of them were folded, which made me imagine how the former owner of the house would go to the movies regularly and dream away by thinking of these stars.
What struck me the most, was that all the images look so similar. The specific printing and colorizing process together makes the images look like drawings, while the distinct way of portraying the actors adds up to the inaccessibility of the persons shown here.
